A little bit of history…
Medieval Knights were generally perceived as armed and mounted warriors who were experts in combat and horsemanship and bound by the codes of chivalry.
A knight in shining armour mounted on his horse was a fearsome weapon!
In France a knight was known as a “Chevalier”, in Spain a “Caballero”, in Italy a “Cavalier” and in Germany a “Ritter”.
