It’s the first time for over 30 years that John won’t have a trade stand at the show but our greetings cards, prints and postcards will be available to purchase from Shakepeares Rally Promotions who can be found on the corner between the Model Tent and Real Ale Tent (by the main entrance car park on the Blandford side – not in the trade line).

As well as his art, John’s also exhibiting his 1946 ‘Model 18′ Norton vintage motorcycles section, so keep and eye (and an ear) out for him!

One of the main features of this years event will be a special gathering of ‘McLaren’ steam engines. To mark the occasion, the Great Dorset Steam Fair have commissioned John to produce some special artwork which will be available for sale on t-shirts and other merchandise during the show.

The Great Dorset Steam Fair takes place over 5 days between Wednesday 1st September and Sunday 5th September and is one of the largest outdoor events in Europe.

We unveiled some brand new artwork (Heavy Horses & Vintage Tractors) along with our new collection of Vintage Tractor Mugs that were very well received.

The show judges kindly awarded us the 2nd place rosette for ‘Best Small Trade Stand’ - our first official award!

The Classic Racers and TT Legends are both a set of 8 postcards and the Motorcycle Cartoons are divided into two sets of 8 postcards, Set 1 – featuring the 8 designs released for the 2009 Isle of Man TT Races and Set 2 – featuring the 8 designs released for the 2010 Isle of Man TT Races. There’s also a ‘Super 16′ set which offers a package of both Set1 and Set 2 at a discounted price.

We’re already being asked about next years Motorcycle Cartoons and they’re becoming quite collectable!

The event, held in Port St Mary, Isle of Man, was well attended and it was good to see some old friends and make some new ones.

Guy Martin paid an early visit to the show and on his way round took a few snaps of our 1946 ‘Model 18′ Norton, declaring it “mega”! Thanks Guy & good luck for successful & safe TT.

Congratulations to sidecar crew Dave Kimberley & Robert Bell for finishing 9th in the Sure Sidecar Race A on the opening day of racing at the 2010 Isle of Man TT Races.

Dave & Robert, onboard the DK Racing / hancoxart.com / Ireson Honda, completed the three lap race with an average speed of 107.025 mph!

Thursday 10th June 2010 – Sure Sidecar Race B

Another great result for Dave Kimberley & Robert Bell who brought the DK Racing / hancoxart.com / Ireson Honda home to a magnificent 8th place in Sure Sidecar Race B.

Dave and Robert completed the final sidecar event of the 2010 Isle of Man TT Races with a average race speed of 106.996 mph!

At the 2009 TT races we launched the first set of eight cartoons and thought it fitting to release our latest set in time for the 2010 TT races!
